ABOUT ME
Growing up, I was always fascinated with photography and journalism. My father was a sports journalist back in the 90’s and early 2000’s, and he was always at Dodger or Laker games taking pictures of athletes in action.
As a child, I really enjoyed taking random pictures on the cameras we had at home, and when we went on family vacations, I would be the one trying to take shots of anything fascinating we saw, from the historical Golden Gate Bridge to the beautiful beaches of Big Sur.
These passions prompted me to switch from studying Political Science at USC to Journalism, and my experience in Annenberg was nothing short of amazing. From working in the media center, interviewing students, and learning to use Adobe Audition and Premiere, I have learned so much during my undergraduate experience at USC.
I wanted to take a step further in my career by really honing in on sports media. In February 2020, I started writing for the Daily Trojan's sports section. A lot of the work was cut short because of COVID-19, but as a recent Trojan graduate, I remain optimistic about my future.
I look forward to every opportunity to become a better journalist. Whether it's in a newsroom at Annenberg or interviewing people out in the field, every experience can only shape me into the journalist I aspire to become: a journalist who values substance over sensationalism, accuracy over agenda, and truth over theatrics.
